UK China Performing Arts Dance Academy - 1st. Moonlight | 2nd. The beauty of purity and peace
Moonlight is a segment of the dance drama The Eternal Wave. Dressed in smoke grey Qipao, waving palm fans and dancing in the alleyways, the dancers’ elegant movements perfectly capture the peacefulness of old Shanghai.
The beauty of purity and peace uses innovative techniques to capture the beauty of Concubine Yang and allows the audience to harmonise with the beauty and elegance of women in the Tang Dynasty.
UK China Performing Arts was founded in 2017. The dance academy promotes Chinese classical dance and Chinese folk dance in the UK. Through the unique and international language of dance, they build a bridge between different cultures and pass on the colourful Chinese culture to overseas arts enthusiasts.
