Taylor Han

Born in Dundee, Taylor danced from the age of 5 and found her passion for contemporary dance when she joined Scottish Dance Theatre’s Youth Dance Company at the age of 13. From the age of 16, she participated in a number of YDance projects including Project Y and the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland in which she got the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally, working with choreographers such as Theo Clinkard and Dam Van Huyn. Taylor did one year of training at the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, and then went on to do her BA (Hons) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with a First Class Honours Degree. During her time at Laban she got the opportunity to work with choreographers Heidi Rustgaard and Rahel Vonmoos, and throughout her training has been focused on developing her skills and love for contact improvisation.
