Sara Augieras

Sara trained in ballet and contemporary techniques as well as attending drama, singing and choreographic classes in Bordeaux, France. She performed several creations in collaboration with France-based choreographers such as Tuomas Lahti, Eric Lamoureux and Yuval Pick. Over the last three years, Sara has attended London Contemporary Dance School; where she received the Peggy Hawkins Scholarship. As recipient of the scholarship Sara has met artists and producers with whom she hopes to continue working with.

Alongside her training, she worked in collaboration with international visual artists and choreographers, touring works to the Swedish Fringe Festival, Resolution (London) and the Poikilo Art museum gallery (Finland). She has recently performed in a retrospective of Lea Anderson’s work at the Victoria and Albert Museum and will be performing over the Summer with Protein Dance Company for the (In)visible dance festival. Sara graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2016 with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance. Sara is looking forward to developing her role as a performer with EDge. She is delighted to learn alongside young and inspiring dancers as well as working with four diverse, international choreographers.
