Born in Los Angeles, California, Sadie is a dance artist who began her training at the Los Angeles County High school for the Arts, while sharing her time in her second home: Berlin, Germany. She continued to study dance at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and has had the opportunity to perform works by Kyle Abraham, Shahar Biniamini and Gracie Whyte. At UCLA, Sadie developed a passion for collaboration between dancers and artists. She worked with break and house dancers, which heighten her love for extreme athleticism and performance. While at UCLA Sadie served as an ambassador for her dance department, worked as a guest teacher at Rocky Mountain Ballet School in Montana and volunteered for the after-school arts programme at Fremont Elementary School. Sadie has learnt from dance companies such as Batsheva Dance Company, completed a full scholarship at Jacobs Pillow, performed works by Guy Nader and Mario Campos and featured in music videos for Tyler Childers and Emmit Fenn. As well as this, she has choreographed for the Fowler Museum, UCLA choreographic showcase, Emmit Fenns The Last Dance and BAUM. Recently Sadie has started her own dance-based podcast Moverss Digest, and is continuing her research that incorporates live music, photography and dance for film.
