You may qualify for a bursary to help with costs. You may also wish to consider a postgraduate loan or other independent sources of funding such as a Career Development Loan.
Postgraduate students may apply for a Fund for Excellence bursary, awarded to students on the bases of need, and the efforts they have taken to mitigate that need.
Applicants who are offered a place on the postgraduate performance programmes (EDge or Apprenticeships) will be asked to provide a deposit of £1600 within a month of the date of the offer, in order to secure their place. Applicants who are offered a place on the MA in Screendance programme will be asked to provide a deposit of £800 within a month of the date of the offer, in order to secure their place. This deposit is non-refundable if the student subsequently fails to take up the place, or does not complete the programme of study. When the programme is successfully completed the deposit total will be refunded or set against outstanding fees during the third term of study (May/June 2019).
A postgraduate loan can help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate master's course. Further information on postgraduate loans and how to apply is available on the government website.
