Class Description: 
Ballet Level 1 is for participants who hold a basic understanding in ballet and are looking to develop their technique and increase their dance vocabulary. This class comprises of a variety of exercises at the barre, warming up your muscles and giving your body time to investigate traditional ballet structures. Continuing into the centre of the studio, you will transfer the techniques used in the barre warm up into longer sequences, such as allegro and travelling phrases.

Level Information:

  • Recommended if you have about a year’s experience in ballet
  • A variety of exercises at the barre, warming up your muscles and focusing your mind
  • Build to longer allegro and travelling phrases
  • Increase your muscular strength, balance, and stamina
