This exhilerating 2.5-hour workshop led by South Asian dance artist Divya Kasturi will navigate the technique and repertoire of Bharatanatyam.

This session will expand concepts and principles inspired by Divya's current work To Varnam…With Love as well as trigger the participants creative skills.

A  minimum of 3-5 years training is required. 

Level information:

• Suitable for intermediate and advance Bharatanatyam and artists of other techniques with 3-5 years of dance experience
• Advance, complex Bharatanatyam motifs and gestures
• A Fast-paced, challenging session, working with different tempos and counts
• The session will focus on rhythms, composition, creativity and choroegraphic triggers.

About Divya Kasturi
Divya Kasturi is a multifaceted dance practitioner with more than three decades of performing experience. She is trained in two South Asian dance styles of Bharatanatyam and Kathak. She is also trained in Western contemporary dance and has studied choreography modules at masters level.
