This exhilerating 2.5 hour workshop with South Asian dance artist Divya Kasturi will introduce you to the core priciples of Bharatanatyam.

Suitable for complete beginners or anyone wanting to try out something different and challenging.


Level information:

  • Suitable for adult beginners (no previous experience is necessary)
  • Participants must be aged 18+ 
  • Will introduce the key principles of Bharatanatyam
  • The session will focus on posture, correct placement of the body as well as rhythm.

About Divya Kasturi
Divya Kasturi is a multifaceted dance practitioner with more than three decades of performing experience. She is trained in two South Asian dance styles of Bharatanatyam and Kathak. She is also trained in Western contemporary dance and has studied choreography modules at masters level.
