Class Description

Michelle’s classes focus on developing a solid foundation of Ballet technique; from the Barre right through to the Centre work. Working towards strengthening the core and constantly improving on alignment and extension, Michelle strives to encourage a strong emphasis on movement quality and expression, to enable the dancer to experience the wonderful sensation that this art form can bring.

The class is accompanied by musician Mark Ball.

Level Information

  • ​Recommended if you have at least 1 years’ experience of ballet
  • A variety of exercises at the barre, warming up your muscles and focusing your mind
  • Build to longer allegro and travelling phrases
  • Increase your muscular strength, balance, and stamina

About Michelle

Michelle studied at Laine Theatre Arts and the Royal Ballet Summer School. She was a principal dancer with Union Dance Company and performed in musicals ‘Cats’ and ‘Starlight Express’, she was also a principal dancer with ‘The Carol Straker Dance Company’. and worked very closely with Robert Cohan and Anne Donnelly on the first drafts of the ‘Rescen’ projects. Michelle currently teaches on the Tring Park Associates Programme and also teaches Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
