Nicola Adilman

Nicola has a passion for creation, storytelling and movement. She was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, attending Rosedale Heights School of the Arts, where she was the Dance Captain of the Company in her final two years and received the graduating Dance Award. She then went to The School of Toronto Dance Theatre for 3 years of post-secondary studies in dance and choreography, where she was awarded the Kathryn Ash Leadership Award in 2017, and had the invaluable opportunity to work with artists such as Paul-André Fortier, Peggy Baker, Robert Desrosiers, Danny Grossman and Christopher House, among others. More recently, Nicola has choreographed, produced and danced in numerous pieces in the Toronto area, working frequently with other emerging artists. In addition, she is pursuing her interest in movement in film, collaborating with colleagues in several shorts and videos.
