I am currently interested by the idea of postdance and its ramifications on the artform of dance. As I see it, postdance factors in choreography as an expanded practice and also bears some relation to the ‘end of choreography’, though I think in a more positive manner, something to be moving forward with as opposed to what might be seen as a dead-end.  Examples of previous work, centres around somatics and creating a spoof somatic technique, and in a different vein working with rhythm and a Dalcrozian approach to respond to music in ‘Judy Get Down’ choreographed on EDge. In the past I have worked with MIKS Dance Theatre as a dancer/collaborator, and with Liz King’s dance company D.ID/Dance Identity as a dancer.
