Congratulations to Sir Robert Cohan for his Lifetime Achievement Award

On Friday night, the annual One Dance UK Awards were streamed online, celebrating the people who have made an impact on the vibrant UK dance landscape!

Hosted by Akosua Boakye BEM in front of the empty auditorium of the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford, with winners joining in by video, the online ceremony still managed to create a glamorous atmosphere as the dance community honoured those that worked so hard to keep the heart of dance beating this year.

We are especially thrilled for Sir Robert Cohan who received the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award in Contemporary Dance, a new category added this year. With over 70 years of a career shaping the industry, Sir Bob is still choreographing, teaching, mentoring and advocating for our beloved art form and we couldn't be happier about this well-deserved recognition.

Many congratulations to all the nominees, the winners, and everyone at One Dance UK for making the awards possible this year.

You can still watch the ceremony online here.
