NamYoon Kim

NamYoon Kim was born in South Korea. She graduated from Korea National University of Art, School of Dance where she received a BA in Dance Theory and was an exchange student at California Institute of the Arts. She has trained in various forms of dance including ballet, contemporary and also Korean traditional dance. In addition to her experience in California, she has also experienced dance at other international organisations during several dance intensives at The Place, Laban, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Body Traffic.
 
NamYoon has performed in many dance performances while she was in both KNUA and Calarts, inclulding K-Arts Dance Company performance, Contemporary Repertory performances, Ethnic Dance repertoire and dance showcase at KNUA and Noonish Dance Concert, International Student Showcase and Last Dance Concert at Calarts. Before joining EDge she participated in Korea National Opera’s King Jumong as a guest dancer of Korea National Contemporary Dance Company.
