Matthew Shelton

Born in South East London, United Kingdom, Matthew started his training at The BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology, performing works by Wayne McGregor in the 2016’s opening of the BRIT Awards. From there he studied for three years at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance working with choreographers such as Gary Lambert, Kate Johnson, Ellen van Schuylenburch, Stephanie Schober to name a few. In addition, working with Jacqueline Bulnes to re-work José Limón’s A Choreographic Offering at the Bonnie Bird Theatre. Matthew is passionate about dance that make the audience question and self-reflect. He is also excited but other visual or audio art-mediums and their connection with dance.  Recently, Matthew has performed at The Lyceum Theatre at the Thea Barnes Legacy Tribute and is always learning and trying to discover new experiences to further his knowledge and practice.
