Maroula Iliopoulou

Maroula is originally from Greece. She graduated as a dance teacher in Athens and has also completed a BA degree in Primary Education. Since she graduated she has shared her love for dance with students of different ages in Athens, Brussels and London. Her willingness to always learn more has led her to travel around Europe to attend festivals and workshops for professional dancers. In 2014, she moved to Brussels, to continue and enrich her training in contemporary dance. After that, in September 2016, she was invited by the choreographer David Zambrano for the one month intensive training of Flying Low and Passing Through Techniques that took place in Spain. She has performed in choreographies of Hannes Langolf, Rosemarie Lee and Simon Whitehead, Grace Nicol, Amy Toner, Ted Stoffer, Athanasia Kanellopoulou, Harry Koushos, Pil & Galia Kollektiv, Athens Video Dance Project, Off Festival in Brussels a creation by Lisi Estaras and Nicolas Vladyslav (Les Ballets C de la B) and with David Zambrano.
