London Contemporary Dance School's library supports the learning, teaching and research needs of staff and students at the school and provides access to resources on dance and related subjects in a variety of formats.
Facilities include study space, a film viewing area, open access computers, printing and photocopying, wifi and specialist software.
The library also subscribes to a range of electronic resources including full-text e-journals which students can access off-campus. All new students receive a library induction and ongoing support throughout their studies from the Librarian and Library Assistants. Further information about services for existing students, including user guides, is available on the School’s VLE, Moodle.
All London Contemporary Dance School students and staff of The Place can use the library and borrow items. The library also participates in the SCONUL Access scheme.
Members of the public can use the library on a reference basis only. Members of the public must make an appointment before their visit.
