Laura Margo Roe is a Midlands based artist, specialising in movement on screen. Growing up, Laura first engaged with dance through an arts in education initiative which lead her to studying at Birmingham Royal Ballet. She then went on to study dance and drama specialising in Physical Theatre. She has been working as an assistant director within the film industry for the past 6 years on short and feature films and TV dramas.
In 2017 Laura received Channel 4 Random Acts funding for her first dance film NAME. She has continued to explore her work with commissions from the BBC New Creatives programme for Searching For Cowardice, which is now in early drama development, and from the British Film Institute with her short narrative POP.
