Kitty Voget

Kitty is a creator, choreographer and director that uses Screendance to convey her ideas, aesthetics and artistic practices. She currently runs an all female collective @girlbandcalledthrush, that aims to have frank and open discussions around what it means to identify as woman. She utilises social media to create an accessible way to view her work. 

She graduated from Trinity Laban conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying Contemporary Dance. Within her own artistic endeavors she has created music videos for Calypso44 and Malena Zavala as well as create collaborative work performed and club nights around London. She also created a contact improv jam, RaspberryJam in collaboration with Sean Murray, that brought dance and live music events together in South East London. 

She has danced for many different artists including, Martin Nachbar, Tom Roden, Justine Reeve, Liz Aggis, Punchdrunk and Fernanda Prata. 

Kitty aims to create all-inclusive and accessible conversation about the experiences of women. She is using this Screendance MA to further her exploration and utilise the vast definitions of Screendance to do this.
