Josephine Haas

Josephine is a native of New York and began her classical dance training at the age of 13 at The School of Greensboro Ballet. She continued her training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts graduating in 2012, Josephine then pursued her BFA with minor in Arts Management at the State University of New York at Purchase College and Codarts Hodgeschool Voor de Kunsten. Josephine has had the opportunity to work with and perform works by artists including Manuel Vignouelle, Brian Enos, Jonathan Heginbothem, Claire Porter, Doug Varone, Lorand Zachar, Emory Le crone, Taryn Kaschock Russell and Blakeley McGuire. She has also had the opportunity to perform Graham, Cunningham and Limón repertoire.

Josephine has choreographed several works including Mudlahara, Ziel, Gussock für Madeline, and (her) Him (&mr.puppet). Josephine has a robust desire to create, collaborate and be a vessel, making an impact through art of movement.
