James Rosental

Originally from Wigan, James first started dancing at the age of 13 with STRIDE youth male dance company before successfully gaining a place on the Centre for Advanced Training at the Lowry. From there he went on to train professionally at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. During his studies James worked with an array of professional artists and also performed in works by Joss Arnott, James Finemore and Gemma Harrison.

As well having a passion for performing, James has also established his choreographic voice and continually developed his own aerial dance practice. He has created commissioned works for Leeds Light Night and also choreographed on two occasions for the Young Creatives Programme. James graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a First Class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance and is now looking forward to further enriching his performance skills as a member of EDge.
