Jacquelyn Tepper

Jacquelyn (she/they) is from Los Angeles, CA where she trained before moving to Chicago to attend Northwestern University. There she continued her dancing across contemporary and hip-hop influenced spaces before graduating in 2020 with honours. Throughout, she pursued research pertaining to site specific dance in national parks and the terminology variations between improvisation and freestyle. She was honoured to work with Nicole Clarke-Springer, Jeff Hancock, Paige Fraser, and J’Sun Howard in originating work for the stage. Alongside her senior year, she apprenticed with Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in their Emerging Artist Ensemble. Now having moved to London, she is thrilled to learn from these three incredible artists in furthering her exploration of nuanced dynamics and energy as a maturing artist. After her year with EDGE, she hopes to continue dancing professionally at the intersection of concert and commercial work.
