Hila was born in Haifa, Israel. She started her dance training under the direction of Rimona Koren at the age of 12. She trained with Angela Dance Company pre-professional programme, at the same time studying for a BA in Education at the Hebrew University. After finishing her training, Hila joined Angela Dance Company under the artistic direction of Miriam Engel and danced there for five years. She also worked as a freelance dancer with Avi Kaiser and Sergio Antonino and Yael Orni. Hila also makes work, two of them for Angela Dance Company training programme. In 2015 she won the first prize with her piece Yesing on Young Choreographers' Platform in Jerusalem. Hila worked as a Dance Co-ordinator at Gonenim Center for Music and Dance for five years, where she taught ballet, contemporary technique and body-conditioning.
