Francesca grew up in the north of Italy and started taking dance classes at the age of six at a local dance school. She trained in Vaganova ballet and was introduced to Graham technique at the age of twelve. While training in Italy, Francesca had the opportunity to participate for several years in the Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP), the world’s largest international ballet competition, and had the opportunity to attend the final competitions in New York. Francesca moved to the UK to continue her studies at The Centre Performing Arts College in Rochester where she trained mostly in ballet and contemporary dance and was introduced to Cunningham technique, as well as attending Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz and singing classes. Alongside her training, she studied to become a ballet teacher, completing her Level 3 Diploma in Dance Instruction (DDI) and graduated with a Diploma in Theatre Performance.
Francesca aspires to become a creative, versatile dancer and is delighted to be joining Edge. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside inspiring dancers as well as to work with four international choreographers and tour around Europe.
