Postgraduate

Erena Reilent

As a real Estonian I began my dance studies in folk dance. Later, in adolescence, I  joined Dance Ensemble „Sõleke“ (focused on folk and character dance) and soon other studios to add contemporary and ballet to my training.

I graduated cum laude from Tallinn University with a BA in Choreography. While at Tallinn, I had the opportunity to perform works by Laura Navndrup Black, Robert Wilson, Sasha Pepelyaev, Leif Firnhaber, Tiina Ollesk and René Nõmmik, among others. 2 years I was a member of Dance Theatre Tee Kuubis and 4 seasons musical dancer at Estonian National Opera. In addition to performing I got experience as a choreographer from XVII Gymnastic Festival and Dance Festival „Koolitants 2015“. I have been also a teacher of contemporary dance at Dance School Tantsuklubi KOIT for one year.

After moving to London I’ve worked with Rosemary Lee, Simon Whitehead and as part of LCDS studies Liz Aggiss.

Currently I am creating a piece as part of my MA dissertation.
