Dance Practices  

The study of dance London Contemporary Dance School is designed to develop highly skilled, versatile, creative and curious dance artists. Most classes are accompanied by live music and engage the students both physically and intellectually. 

Students are exposed to dance practices from various cultural backgrounds both physically and academically exploring histories and cultural contexts. Practices explored through the curriculum from the African diaspora, South Asian dance and Euro-American influences include:

Floor work
Flying Low and Passing Through
Gaga
Hip hop
Kathak based work
Cunningham based work
Ballet aimed at contemporary dancers
Improvisation
Contact improvisation
Partner work
