Born in California, Claudia began her dance training when her family relocated to Europe. When she returned to California, Claudia trained at Professional Ballet School and did seasonal work with the Peninsula Ballet Theatre in the Bay Area. Eventually, Claudia incorporated contemporary dance into her training and spent four years at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2019 she graduated with honors, obtaining degrees in both Dance and Political Science. During her time at UCLA, Claudia had the privilege of working with artists such as Victoria Marks, Cheng-Chieh Yuh, Natsuo Tomita, Darrian O’Reilly, André Zachery, and others while also exploring her own interests in choreography and production. Through EDGE and the MA program, Claudia is pursuing her passion for both academia and dance and is excited for this invaluable opportunity.
