Anna McSorley

Anna was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and began dance classes from an early age at her local dance school. She trained in a number of different dance styles and joined the Scottish Ballet Associate Programme, before discovering contemporary dance at the age of 15. Once Anna found her love of contemporary dance, she became a member of the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland, and worked with many choreographers and toured nationally in her three years with the company. Anna achieved her HNC in Professional Dance Performance, training in jazz, and commercial, along with ballet and contemporary styles before moving to London to complete her BA(Hons) at London Contemporary Dance School. During her time at there, Anna worked with and performed works by a wide variety of choreographers, including Richard Alston, James Cousins, and Julie Cunningham. In addition, Anna has a great interest in performance art, installation works, and hopes to continue and grow her work in feminist erotic photography.
