Born in London, Amy began dancing at the age of three. Things started getting more serious when she joined the Royal Ballet School Associates at the age of ten. During her teens, she performed in London’s West End with London Children’s Ballet and travelled to Morocco to perform in an international dance festival. She later discovered contemporary dance, which led her, at 16, to join Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, to gain her BA (Hons). During her time there, she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Julie Cunningham and Darren Ellis, also performing repertoire by Rafael Bonachela on stages at the Linbury Theatre ROH and Lilian Bayliss theatre at Sadler’s Wells. In addition, Amy has passion for teaching which she hopes to further alongside the performance opportunities during her time with EDGE.
