London Contemporary Dance School alumnus and movement director, Struan Leslie is creating a work that mixes acrobatic techniques with music and poetry at this year’s Aldeburgh Festival.
In an interview with Sarah Hemming for the Financial Times, he discusses the combination of art forms: “There’s a danger that when you combine art-forms they all get watered down. That’s not the case here. We’re trying to find a language through which the music and the skills are working in tune.”
