There’s no way of knowing where the future stars of dance are hiding, but every year Resolution! Review helps to guide the way.

Resolution! Review is The Place’s online magazine, posting two reviews of every single performance within 24 hours. Six aspiring writers are paired with six professional dance critics to offer two different perspectives on each triple bill.

This year's six new writers:
Jeffrey Gordon Baker is an artist and social worker. He has an undergraduate degree in experimental performance and child development from New York University, an MA from Central St Martins and is currently undertaking postgraduate work in the school of Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck. His art practice includes visual and performance work, and writing.
Misa Brzezicki studied at the University of Manchester and Laban, developing a keen interest in dance writing along the way. She works freelance on projects ranging from the Bloomberg New Contemporaries exhibition at the ICA, to short dance films for BBC Learning.
Germaine Cheng was born and educated in Singapore. She is a final year student at the Rambert School.
Rachel Donnelly is a writer, freelance proofreader and copy editor, currently based in Dublin, who has had a life-long interest in dance. She has a BA in English and Philosophy from University College Dublin, as well as an MA in Modern English Literature from Queen Mary, University of London.
Lucy Jarvis is a dancer, writer and choreographer originally from Shropshire. Lucy graduated in dance from the University of Chichester in 2011 and is currently studying for her MA in Dance Cultures at the University of Surrey. Her current studies focus on the place of rural Britain in dance today.
Natalia Okeke is currently studying for a degree in English and Dance at the University of Winchester.
