Originally from the northwest United States, Gracie Whyte received the bulk of her training through Balance Dance Company, whom she danced with for 9 years. Gracie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chapman University in Southern California with degrees in Dance and Communication Studies in 2010. While at Chapman, she performed in over 25 pieces by choreographers such as Jennifer Backhaus, Dale Merrill, Nancy Dickson-Lewis, and Elizabeth Maxwell and was given the opportunity to study abroad at Middlesex University in London. She received the highest Talent Scholarship, was named Up & Coming Choreographer (2009), Outstanding Artistic Achievement (2010), and was placed on the Chancellor’s List for the entirety of her time at Chapman for academic achievements. Gracie is thoroughly excited to be dancing with EDge, with the hope of founding a long career in London.
